What items does my property need to start using the management services?

In order to host, your property will need a few essentials to make your guests' stay more enjoyable. They're all included in this list. If you're missing any of them, please let us know and Weguest can buy them on your behalf. Bedroom: pillows, duvet, mattress protector (Weguest provides bedding), curtains, lamps, clothes storage, hangers. Kitchen: toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, bucket, basic condiments for cooking, cutlery, dishes, bowls, cups, glasses, pans, pots. Bathroom: hairdryer, toilet brush, toothbrush holder, rubbish bin. General: iron and ironing board, mop and bucket, vacuum cleaner and bags, wardrobe space for towels and guests' belongings. Others: five sets of keys, wifi, heating and hot water. Contact our team and we'll help you with the whole process and any questions you may have.

What personal items can I leave at my property?

We always recommend removing items of high financial or sentimental value from the property to keep them safe and for your own peace of mind. You can leave other belongings at the property as long as they're safely stored out of the reach of guests and as long as there's enough space for the guests to unpack their things when they arrive. We also really recommend that hosts leave out ornaments and personal photos, as they help create a welcoming environment.

How do I give you the keys?

How much does the Weguest service cost?

Weguest offers its full management service with a fee of 18% of the booking price (price per night x number of nights). This fee will be charged when the booking has been completed. What's more, cleaning fees are paid by guests.

Can I ask for some kind of invoice?

Of course! Simply fill in your tax details in your profile. Once the last service has been completed for the booking, you can download the invoice from your host area.

When and how is payment made?

With Weguest, you won't pay anything until the final service has been carried out. Once the final service has been carried out, payment will be charged to the card you linked to your profile. Forget about cash payments. Reserved services are paid for online through our payment provider Sabadell, which is a secure SSL/PCI payment gateway used by thousands of companies worldwide. We accept most credit and debit cards and, for your security, all transactions are encrypted and we don't save payment card details and numbers.

Additional charges for which a host may be liable include: Any cleaning service scheduled after a host's stay at the property. Any maintenance work carried out by our operators, including access to a third-party maintenance company or delivery of requested items to the property during a guest's stay. Everything you need to keep your property clean, tidy and ready for the next guests or your return. The total cleaning time will depend on the number of rooms in the property. As a rule of thumb, cleaning will take two hours for a one- or two-bed apartment, three hours for three-bed apartments, and four or more hours for apartments with four or more bedrooms.
